Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born on April 16th, 1996 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. She is an Argentinean with Scottish, English and Argentinean descent. Her mother is Spanish and English descent. Taylor Joy is the youngest of four siblings. One of them is at each one of their parents' previous marriages. They lived within Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria region in London. Taylor-Joy says the move to London was traumatizing and she did not learn English to avoid moving back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the switched from Northlands. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in school productions. At the age of 16, she quit school to take on a full-time job in acting. From a young age Taylor-Joy had a dream to be an actor and her dream came true when she was given the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
