SarahAahoo Jahansouzshahi (January 10, 1980) who is professionally known as Sarah Shahi, is an American actress. She was formerly was a model. She was the lead character Carmen in the TV show The L Word, Kate Reed on USA Network's legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-2012) and Sameen Shaw in CBS' crime drama Person of Interest(2012-2016). 2 She was part of the main Det. Dani Reese appeared in Life [3] and in Alias in a supporting role. In the year 2018, she appeared in the series Reverie. She starred as a recurring character in the show City on a Hill on Showtime in 2019[5[5]. She was also a part of seven episodes on The Rookie playing the role of Jessica Russo in the romantic love interest Jessica Russo. Shahi met Robert Altman on the set Dr. T and the Women in Texas. Then, she was encouraged to relocate to Hollywood and was offered roles in Alias as well as Dawson's Creek. In 2005, she took on the role of DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales as a supporting character on The L Word. She joined it in its second season. Shahi's two year contract was not renewed following the conclusion of the fourth season. She was also dismissed.
